Idea Home by Perrino Builders
The show will be highlighting an Idea Home built by
Perrino Builders. The Tuscan-styled ranch combines new trends with
Craftsman-infused features to encourage a sense of community inside and
outside the home. Before entering the 4,000 square foot house, guests
will admire a large front porch where neighbors can interact and family
can bond outdoors. Inside, the warm and inviting kitchen meets any home
entertainer's dream with an island that seats eight, walk-in butler's
pantry, dining room overlooking a wine cellar and large dinette area
with seamless glass to let the outdoor beauty in. Spacious gallery
hallways guide visitors through the rest of the three-bedroom,
three-bathroom home. The master suite is complete with an elaborate
master spa bath boasting floor-to-ceiling pillars. Other rooms include a
mudroom with a walk-in closet and lockets; three-car garage; laundry
room; and home office featuring eye-catching triangular architecture.

The Dream Basement
The fully-constructed 2,000 square foot Dream Basement built by Custom
Remodeling and Design will inspire visitors with ideas for their own
entertainment and recreation area. Meeting the desires of the entire
family, the basement will include a wet bar, wine cellar, game room,
exercise room and bath with a steam shower. Guests can sit back and
relax in one of 15 leather, power-reclining home theater seats and
experience live demonstrations in Xtend Technologies' Home Theater.
Special features include 7.2-channel surround sound, a 120-inch
high-definition screen and custom acoustical sound paneling. Furniture
is provided by Kronheims Furniture (kronheimsfurniture.com), and landscaping surrounding the outside of the basement will be provided by Morton's Landscaping.

Celebrity Appearances
Peter Walsh, an expert in organizational design, was a regular guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show where he was dubbed the “Get Your Life Organized Guy” which led to his own series, “Extreme Clutter” (formerly “Enough Already!”). Will appear Saturday, February 2, 2013.
Chris Crary, a contestant on season nine of Top Chef, and current
Chef de Cuisine at Whist at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, will
appear Saturday, February 9, 2013.

Also, home improvement specialist, Matt Fox, from HGTV's hit show Room
by Room and now public TV's Around the House with Matt and Shari will be
our MC all week!
The Loretta Paganini School of Cooking will again be
joining The Great Big Home & Garden Show by hosting a variety of
local culinary experts with themed demonstrations taking place daily.

"Product Runway" Fashion Show
Visitors will enjoy this extraordinary fashion show
brought to you by Architectural Justice, a full service design center
located in Medina Ohio. The show will combine "haute couture" with
interior design with creations by the innovative students of Virginia
Marti College of Art and Design located in Lakewood, Ohio. This event
will showcase architecturally inspired fashion pieces designed by the
fashion and interior design students of Virginia Mart.

Pettiti Gardening Stage
Pettiti's will host daily seminars about gardening in
Northeast Ohio by experts in landscape design, flora and furnishing your

Celebrity Designer Rooms
The show will feature six custom-designed rooms, each created by the
partnership of a local celebrity and interior design business or
exhibitor.

The Belgard Landscaper's Challenge
Belgard is hosting this outdoor living feature with
designs from two premier landscapers that can be voted on by our show
attendees.

Playground World's KidZone
This fun area will let your kids burn energy while parents sign up to win a playground set hosted by Playground World.
Garden Showcase Representing U.S. Landmarks
19 of Northeast Ohio's top landscaper designers will showcase their gardens inspired by U.S Landmarks such as Wrigley Field, Beverly Hills, and Augusta National Golf Course. Cocktails and refreshments will be served among the beauty of the gardens in Cambria Bistro. There visitors can vote for their favorite garden in the People's Choice Awards sponsored by The Plain Dealer.
Post-show Blow-Out Sale
Get great deals on all products and plants on display in the gardens when you shop the show's Plant Sale. Plus, save big on the furniture and accessories featured in the three model homes. Both sales begin after the show closes on February 10 at 6:30 PM
