Cleveland Division of Air Quality (CDAQ) is the Ohio EPA delegated local air agency serving Cuyahoga County. CDAQ is responsible for enforcing the rules of the Clean Air Act and operating an ambient air quality network.Cuyahoga County residents can submit air quality complaints to our 24/7 Hotline at (216) 664-7442.
In an effort improve air quality in Cuyahoga County, CDAQ is happy to offer two exciting opportunities for Cuyahoga County residents to switch from a gasoline powered lawnmower to an electric lawnmower.
First, for a limited time, Cuyahoga County residents can enter to win a brand new, Greenworks 80-Volt Electric Lawnmower. Enter to win online or by calling (216) 420-8049 from February 3 through February 12. One entry per person. Free to enter and no purchase necessary. Only one lawnmower available. Additional restrictions apply.
Second, Cleveland Division of Air Quality is pleased to announce our 2023 Electric Lawnmower Rebate Program. Cuyahoga County residents can receive a $100 Visa rebate gift card for the purchase of a battery-operated electric lawnmower. To be eligible, the participant must register with CDAQ, purchase an electric lawnmower, and scrap a gasoline powered lawnmower. Additional restrictions apply.
